AltEm Stitches advises customers on important aspects of pants alterations such as pants rise, pants length or pants width.

Pants rise is the distance from the front of the waistband that determines how high or low your pants sit on your waist or hips. AltEm Stitches adjusts rise so that pants are more comfortable on your waist, hips and around your crotch.

AltEm Stitches is often asked to adjust pants waist. To tighten the pants waist, we take it in from the back of the waistband to make them snug enough to stay up without a belt. If there is enough seam fabric AltEm Stitches can let out the waist for a looser fit. The waist of your pants should be comfortable when you stand, sit, and walk around.

The pants leg opening measurement is measured while the pants are laid flat. AltEm Stitches can alter your pants to make them slimmer through the upper and lower leg, as well as around your ankle.

Most customers are aware that their pants, jeans, chinos, and slacks can be altered for proper length. When altering the length of your pants, AltEm Stitches can cut or cuff them to suit your fashion preference. AltEm Stitches preserves the original hem look of jeans by stitching a new hem into the bottom of each pant leg.
